That's because we believe caring for you requires more than simply medication—it takes conversation, compassion and connection.
Our Team
Cliff Comins
Pharmacist Cliff Comins loves serving the Cambridge community, the town he calls home and has done so for many years.
He first moved to Cambridge with his family as a teenager. His pharmacy studies took him south to the University of Otago and, upon graduation, he ventured back up north to take a pharmaceutical job in Hamilton. After a spell working abroad in Ireland, he returned to the Hamilton pharmacy where he worked previously, but something was amiss. It felt impersonal; he knew customers by their medications without knowing anything else about them. That wasn't the sort of service he was interested in. Instead, he wanted to offer personal, empathetic healthcare. So, it was time to return home.
Cliff moved back to Cambridge and, in 2005, bought a Cambridge pharmacy that now bears his name—and his ethos of healthcare with the personal touch. Now he and his wife Kath, are raising four boys in their hometown.

Our History
Current owner Cliff Comins, keen to return to Cambridge, took the reigns in 2005 and rechristened it Comins Pharmacy. 2014 saw a major overhaul of our shop and branding, enabling us to serve our clientele better than ever before.
As you can see, over the years a lot has changed—but one thing hasn't: our commitment to serving the Cambridge community.
